How do I make sure my Chromebook is kept up-to-date? | Shut down the Chromebook nightly for charging and to allow for updates.

My Chromebook is running slow, what can I do? | Clear out your cache with Ctrl + Shift + Backspace.
Restart the device.

My Chromebook isn’t turning on or charging, what should I look for? | Make sure your charger is securely plugged into both the device and the outlet on the side with the light.
Inspect the charging cord for damage.
Check USB-C ports for obvious damage (cracking, bending, etc.) Look for the light indicator on the Left (Dell) side. Blinking or Orange = Charging White = Fully charged Off = Using battery power or Dead
Perform a SMC reset. Hold Refresh, and then Power for 5 seconds. Release Refresh, and then release Power.

My Chromebook isn’t playing audio? | Make sure sound isn't muted: At the bottom right, select the time. Adjust the volume using the slider.
Change the sound input or output: At the bottom right, select the time. Next to the volume slider, select the Right arrow. Change where sound comes from (output) or where you speak into (input).
Unplug audio devices (like headphones or speakers) from your Chromebook.
